for products with a low product life-cycle cost...from original purchase price through product field
maintenance support...over the life of the scanner. The VMR 138 is the first model in this new generation. While these scanners were originally designed to meet the severe user environment of the lottery/wagering market, these innovative scanners offer new design features that make them readily usable for a wide range of other applications. The VMR 138 is ideal for surveys, time and attendance records, factory data collection, quality control, maintenance logs and a host of other data entry applications where the collection of dynamic variable data requires the use of forms.
The VMR 138 is the first user-friendly scanner specifically designed to enable the operator to correct major form handling problems which sometimes occur when processing is performed by inexperienced personnel.
