The New PAGESCAN III from PDI is the high-speed
scanner that gives you super fast transmission of data and converts
pixel data to 8-bit grayscale for sharper, more precise images. This
state-of-the-art micro-controlled document scanner automatically transports
and scans forms forward or reverse (bi-directionally) from a full-page
size (A4) down to forms only 3.25" wide by 3.00" long. PAGESCAN
III scans forms on a line-by-line basis (1728 image-pixels
per line), converts the pixel data to 8-bit grayscale or 256 tones of
gray and then transmits the data via a standard USB 1.1 or 2.0 interface.
PAGESCAN III is ideal for lottery as well as a variety of applications
and can capture and decode optical mark-sense (OMR) data as well as
OCR and bar code data.
